Pam Dooley, who grew up as an athlete and plant lover, earned the nickname "Plants" from her teammates during her collegiate volleyball years. She began working in the green industry at the age of 15, spending summers alongside her grandfather at the local nursery/garden center. When the Olympics came to Atlanta in 1996, she helped install and provide ongoing maintenance of the landscape at the athlete’s welcome center, where she witnessed excellence and an elite environmental experience. Pam’s passion for the industry led her to a nursery management position in South Carolina for seven years and eventually back to Atlanta in 2003, where she went back to the University of Georgia to work on her horticulture degree. She started Plants Creative in 2005.
