
Greg Davis

Greg Davis is the Director of Strategic Initiatives at Environmental Management Services, Inc. (EMI), where Greg heads-up the new strategies, technological advancements, and complex issues EMSI encounters to make sure the company is always moving forward while staying ahead of the competition. Greg also oversees the Fleet and Facilities including our 4-acre plant hold yard.
EMI has been using commercial autonomous mowers for one year and they are starting our second. Greg’s role in this process has included initial research and qualifying of the product, live observation and feedback loop, and site planning.
Greg has a B.S. in Landscape Horticulture from The Ohio State University and has worked in the Green Industry for 27 years. Greg started his professional career with smaller full-service landscape companies doing landscape designs, residential and commercial sales, plant and hardscape installs, and all snow services. He then took a position with a company he was with for 12 years and worked his way up through the ranks from supervisor to branch manager. Greg started with EMI in June of ’19 and he uses his experience and expertise to drive advancements that allow the business to be First-in-Class in both execution and quality.
Greg is a husband and father of three who enjoys working and playing sports outside with the family, all music, and craft beer found in and around his home in Dayton, OH.
