Mike Callahan
SimpleGrowth Systems

Mike Callahan started Callahan's Lawn Care and Property Maintenance, Inc. in 1994 as a way to make money to pay for his car insurance in high school. After working his way through college with three full time crews, he made the leap into full-time lawn care and snow removal in upstate New York instead of choosing the corporate path most of his classmates pursued. After nearly 15 years in the daily grind of the business, Mike began to automate the internal and external processes and systems in his own business. This pursuit to automate allowed Mike to begin focusing on his business instead of working in it. In 2016, Callahan started his consulting and automations company, SimpleGrowth, as a way to help other business owners take their lives back from their own businesses. Mike lives in Upstate New York with his wife and two daughters.

Yellowstone Landscape

Ben began his commercial landscaping career in 1999, but started mowing lawns in 1989 as a 13-year-old in the Dallas area. Native Land Design was founded in 2001 and grew into a large commercial maintenance firm in Austin, Houston and south Texas over the past 18 years. In February of 2019, Native was acquired by Yellowstone Landscape and Ben remains committed to growing the Yellowstone brand throughout Texas.

During the past four years Native worked hard to implement technology throughout their systems and processes to make them more nimble and profitable. Ben helped develop and internal application for their irrigation department that became Tapigo, and is now working to bring that technology to the industry. Ben and his wife Barbie recently had a section of the Texas A&M University Gardens named in their honor to help teach gardening to future generations.
