Lawn & Landscape Technology Conference Exhibiting Policies

To protect the integrity of the Lawn & Landscape Technology Conference and the investments of our sponsors and exhibitors, unauthorized promotional activity (“suitcasing”) is strictly prohibited.

Suitcasing includes any non-sponsoring or non-exhibiting attendee promoting their company, products, or services without an official sponsorship or exhibit presence. Examples include distributing materials, displaying branded items, or soliciting business in any event space.

Exhibitor Promotional Guidelines
Exhibitors may promote their company and distribute materials only within the confines of their assigned booth space. All signage, banners, displays, handouts, and promotional collateral must remain contained within the contracted exhibit area.

Exhibitors are not permitted to place or distribute banners, flyers, literature, branded items, or other promotional materials in aisles, session rooms, registration areas, common spaces, or elsewhere within the venue without a dedicated sponsorship that specifically allows such placement or distribution.

Any promotional activity outside of an exhibitor’s contracted booth space must be approved in advance with Event Management.

Event Management reserves the right to take immediate action against violations, including removing materials, revoking event access without refund, denying participation in future events, or assessing fees equivalent to an applicable sponsorship.

To report unauthorized promotional activity, please contact Event Management at conference@gie.net.

By attending or exhibiting at the Lawn & Landscape Technology Conference, all participants agree to comply with this policy.

Outboarding is defined by the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) as the creation of a concurrent event that is related to an existing exhibition or event but that is not sanctioned by the organizer, and which seeks to benefit from the audience the organizer attracts.

Our Exhibitors and event Sponsors invest significant financial and other resources in the planning and execution of their events. Their financial resources are at risk as are the business reputation and good will that are vital elements of an exhibitor’s business success. The Lawn & Landscape Technology Conference works diligently to protect our exhibitors’ and sponsors’ investment in the event by taking a firm stance against outboarding. We encourage official exhibitors to host parties and special events to enhance the Lawn & Landscape Technology Conference before and after show hours, but these activities should never be functions that compete against those who are making an additional investment in their brand at the Lawn & Landscape Technology Conference. During show hours, it is strictly prohibited to conduct education inside of meeting rooms or to promote any activity that directly competes with the Lawn & Landscape Technology Conference.

The Exhibitor shall at all times comply with all federal, state and local laws, ordinances, regulations, and others that are applicable to the operation of its business, its exhibition and this Agreement. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the Exhibitor shall at all times, at its own expense, obtain and maintain all certifications, credentials, authorizations, licenses, and permits necessary to conduct that portion of its business relating to its exhibition

Exhibitors shall not use the Event, Tradeshow or Center for any unlawful purpose. Exhibitor shall, and shall cause any person acting for and on its behalf, and its guests and invitees, to comply with all laws, rules, ordinances, statutes or regulations of all federal, state, county, municipal and local governmental bodies, including, but not limited to, Hemp/CBD, smoking and noise ordinance(s), fire safety laws and ordinances, statutes or regulations with respect to the promotion, and exhibition (collectively, “Applicable Regulations”).

Exhibitor hereby represents and warrants that it has performed its own due diligence with respect to such Applicable Regulations and acknowledges and agrees that GIE Media d.b.a. Lawn & Landscape Technology Conference shall assume no liability for Exhibitor, its officers, directors, members, partners, employees, agents, representatives, affiliates, successors or permitted assigns or invitees’ compliance with such Applicable Regulations. Exhibitor also acknowledges and agrees that nothing contained herein constitutes legal advice as to current or future Applicable Regulations and that GIE Media d.b.a. Lawn & Landscape Technology Conference shall not and does not have any responsibility to inform or otherwise communicate to Exhibitor any change, amendment, or revision to such Applicable Regulations. For the avoidance of doubt, Exhibitor acknowledges and agrees that the Applicable Regulations and Exhibitor makes no representation or warranty and expressly disclaims that the Applicable Regulations in force as of the date of execution of the Agreement will be the same as of the dates of the Event.
